What Equipment Do I Need?

Because the classes are online and live you will need an internet connection. Any device that has internet capability will work -- however, we recommend you have a device that has a fairly large screen in order to see the instructor.

You do not need a webcam or a microphone.

What Do I Do To Attend An Online, Live Class?

2. Register for the class you wish to attend - see instructions below.

3. Log in and attend the class.

Is There A Cost To Attend A Class?

Standard pricing applies to all classes.

Can I Use My Current Membership or Class Pack?

YES, ABSOLUTELY!

How Do I Purchase A 5, 10 or 20 Class Pack?

Can I Purchase A Drop-in Class?

YES, Absolutely! Go to our Schedule & Pricing Page to purchase a class.

Do I Need An Account To Attend Classes?

YES -- you will need an account, please do the following:

1. Access the website ( https://www.learnitlive.com/YogaShakti ) enter your email and a password.

2. Make sure you check the box -- Is This A New Account? Then check the box that you are not a Robot and press the ENTER SITE button.

3. Then enter your First and Last Name -- and press the SUBMIT INFO button.

NOTE: Please give us your entire first and last name so that we know who you are. This information is only seen by Yoga Shakti Teachers.

Do I Need To Register For A Class?

Yes, the teacher needs to know who is attending the class.

To Register For a Class:

1. Log into https://www.learnitlive.com/YogaShakti and find the class you want to attend, click on the green REGISTER NOW button.

NOTE: The system will indicate the class is FREE -- this is because we are using our secure website and not learnitlive.com's payment system. Classes are not free - please purchase your classes thru our secure website.

2. You will be asked an Access Code, enter: iloveyogashakti

and then click the VALIDATE button and click on the big GREEN REGISTER NOW button.

3. You will see in the upper part of the screen that you are registered for the class. On the LEFT side of the screen is a button ENTER LIVE SESSION.

That's it!

NOTE: You will be able to enter a live session up to 30 minutes ahead of time. You will see the ENTER LIVE SESSION button will be green. If the button is gray, it is more than 30 minutes prior to the class.

How Do I Attend A Class?

You will be able to get into an upcoming class 30 minutes prior to the start time. Keep in mind you need to register for each class. -- see the instructions above on how to register for a class.

You can register anytime for an upcoming class.

To Attend A Class Online:

1. Log into https://www.learnitlive.com/YogaShakti

2. You will be see MY CLASSES and all the classes you have registered for.

3. Find the class you wish to attend and click the green ENTER LIVE SESSION button.

That's it!

NOTE: you will be able to enter a live session up to 30 minutes ahead of time. You will see the ENTER LIVE SESSION button will be green. If the button is gray, it is more than 30 minutes prior to the class.

NOTE: When entering a live session you will be asked about setting up your microphone and your camera -- you do not need this equipment to attend a session, but if you have them then allow the device and share the device. This way our teacher will be able to hear and see you. If you do not have this equipment there is also a chat feature available in the live session.

Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga with postures or asanas, that are held for anywhere from 45 seconds to 2 minutes. It helps to bring more energy and circulation to the ligaments,tendons and joints by applying light weights to help open the body more and it's a very meditative practice. The class is suitable for all levels.

YIN YOGA with VALENTINA

Practice core-strengthening postures that help align the spine and bring out inner strength and openness. Then breathe in the refuge of restorative postures with optional use of sandbags to reveal peace of body and mind. The class is suitable for all levels.

This class helps to strengthen and increase flexibility the entire body with modifications. Focus will be given on the breath and experience rejuvenating and uplifting effects of this practice. The class is suitable for all levels.

HATHA FLOW with JULIE

A gentle class focusing on flowing from pose to pose and linking the movement with the breath. The instructor will offer a variety of modifications to encourage participation of everyone. The class is suitable for all levels.

YOGA FOR MIND, BODY & SPIRIT with CINDY

This class gives you a complete experience of moving gently into postures, while practicing full yogic breath work (pranayama) to further relax the mind, body and spirit. The instructor emphasizes alignment to prevent injuries as well as to help individuals recover from injuries or misalignment you may be experiencing in your postures. The class incorporates many yogic principles (observation of body sensations, stilling the mind within the posture, focused concentration and meditation). The class is suitable for all levels.

YIN/YANG YOGA with CINDY

YOGA FOR MIND, BODY & SPIRIT with CINDY

This class is a combination / hybrid class. The yang portion of the class with be a gentle flow, the other half of the class will be a yin-style practice, holding the postures for extended periods of time to open ligaments and tendons. This class is suitable for all levels.
